Turn Your Garden Into a True Winter Wonderland

Though it may not seem practical to spend much time working on your garden during the holiday season, there is a way to get a great deal out of one project. You can continue to enjoy your outdoor space by decorating an area of it with natural holiday ornamentation.

Things like slices of dried fruit, cinnamon sticks, leaves painted in festive colours, or dipped in glitter will quickly turn the view outside your window into a true winter wonderland. It is also nice to string these items together with natural materials such as raffia and twine.

Or, go all out and make this the year that you plant a fir tree instead of buying one that has been cut down to display indoors. This way you can admire, and adorn this living Christmas tree year after year.
