When to Start This Years Landscaping Project

With spring approaching once again, I repeat a practice from the last three years. What would I like to do with those three acres on the side of our home. Over time, I have had so very many thoughts. Some included hiring a landscaper, others doing a major overhaul myself. And then finally, the one I always seemed to choose just let it remain as is for yet another year to pass. Enough is enough I’ve told myself. But here I am again saying the time is now. Still, having gotten everything in the house, and immediately outside of it in top shape means that I could potentially procrastinate a bit more. Having spent all my extra time and energy on making the garden an extension of our living area, I am ready for a break, was what I told myself last year.

At one point I had the idea  of raising some pigs, or doing a large vegetable garden. But even if I had followed through with one or both of those I still would be left with quite a bit of land to work with. As it stands now, I believe that once the frost melts and the days warm up I will get motivated. But for right now, I will continue to bury my head in the sand, and will hold off. My excuse this year? I am going to rely upon the fact that I overachieved last year. I know not very strong considering, but it is still officially winter.
