One Inexpensive Garden Decoration that Will Charm Your Guests Most

It was not until we celebrated my nieces 4th birthday in my garden that I thought to bring my chalkboard from the kitchen outside. It was the perfect thing to use as a colourful celebratory sign, because it looked adorable and Kasey loved it. When all was said and done, I realized it made a great addition to the seating area.

However, I went out and bought a new, bigger one and put it into an old elaborate frame. Now it rests against my garden bench and the kids run right to it when they visit. I also use it to keep track of my watering schedule and leave funny messages for the fictional fairies I claim live amongst the rose bushes.

Funniest part is that it gets so much use, and attention that I think I might get a couple of small ones to put in little nooks and crannies. The idea that I have used them indoors for years, but never thought to put them outside makes me giggle. They are just so inexpensive, yet so very charming.
