Creating a Master Garden Plan

If you have purchased the home you plan to raise children, and grow old in, then be sure to take this into consideration when setting up your garden. While it might just be you and the missus enjoying the garden at the present, think of what would be enjoyable to have in this space once little ones enter the picture, or even once your children’s children come by for a visit.

For example, an allocated space to grow fruit and veg could add a whole new dimension to family life. First off, growing the very foods you put on the family dinner table will be very rewarding. Once the kids are old enough to learn about gardening, and growing their own produce you will be able to teach them an unending list of valuable lessons in your own backyard.

Another fantastic item to incorporate into your garden would be a climbing tree. Just think about the fun that multiple generations of your family could have with that tree. Not to mention the amount of shade that it could provide over the years for crawling babies, and teeter tottering toddlers.

So, spend sometime visualising the future, and make your master garden plan based upon that vision. Such planning could be the very foundation of a multitude of future memories.
